Pink’s book was significant in recent church history. It was written when many churches were Arminian in their theology. The emphasis was very much on man and not God. Many in the 1950s spoke of how important this book was to them in coming to the biblical position on key aspects of our faith.
You may recall we have read books together, so to speak, over the years. I would like us as a congregation to read together “The Sovereignty of God” by AW Pink. I have ordered a number of copies and if you do not have a copy it would be my pleasure to donate you a copy. The book will give us great thoughts of God, move us to worship and thank him for the amazing grace of salvation.
